May 28 | Rowing
SMU rowing welcomes Jesse Pulford to the 2025-26 incoming freshman class.
Pulford hails from New Plymouth, New Zealand where she rowed with Clifton Rowing Club. Her top rowing accomplishments came at The New Zealand Nationals. She earned a silver in the women's club double sculls and bronze in the women's club single sculls. She made the New Zealand Under 22 team in 2025.
"Jesse has had a lot of success at the junior level in New Zealand, but most importantly she's a great teammate," said head coach Chase Graham. "She's an awesome person, loves to grind it out, and has a knack for keeping her bow ball ahead."
Pulford is excited to grow as an athlete and compete at the Division I level. She can't wait to create lifelong memories.
