THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. (SMU) – Four SMU Men's Tennis players are set to take on the Sherwood Collegiate Cup in Thousand Oaks, California, Friday through Sunday.

Jerry Barton, Meethre Barot, Noah McDonald and Alex Stafford will travel to the West Coast to take on players from California, USC, UCLA, Pepperdine, Yale, Cal Poly, UCSB, LMU, New Mexico, Pacific and Saint Mary's.

Match & Event Schedule:
Friday 9/26: 2 rounds of singles, 1 round of doubles
Saturday 9/27: 1 round of singles, 2 rounds of doubles, Kid's Clinic & College Pro Am
Sunday 9/28: 1 round of singles, 1 round of doubles

Mustangs in the ITA Preseason Rankings
Trevor Svajda, Alex Finkelstein and Georgi Georgiev were ranked in the ITA Preseason Rankings.

Svajda and Finkelstein were ranked No. 22 and 69 in the singles rankings, respectively.

Svajda and Georgiev broke into the rankings at No. 34 in the doubles rankings.

NCAA Individual Championships
In 2024, Trevor Svajda was the only Mustang to compete in the NCAA Singles Championship. He fell in the round of 32 of the tournament.
