DALLAS (SMU) – SMU Men's Tennis fell 4-1 to No. 4 TCU at Styslinger/Altec Tennis Complex on Saturday.
 
The Mustangs dropped the doubles point before No. 2 Trevor Svajda won his singles match over No. 6 Duncan Chan to tie the match at 1-1. TCU won three singles matches on courts two, six and five to clinch the win.
 
Svajda grabbed his career highest-ranked singles win against the sixth-ranked opponent. He has two ranked wins this spring and a total of nine ranked wins in the 2025-26 season.
 
The junior has won all his dual singles matches in straight sets. He is 4-0 in singles play to start the spring season, winning all the sets he's played.

TCU won the doubles point as the visitors won their matches on courts one and two both 6-3. Georgi Goergiev and Krish Arora held TCU's No. 23 Co Rolland De Ravel and Duncan Chan to an unfinished match on court two.
 
Svajda tied the match at 1-1 by winning his match against Chan on court one (6-4, 6-1).
 
No. 45 Co Rolland De Ravel defeated Alex Finkelstein (6-1, 6-4) on court two to regain the Frogs' lead, before Vikas Deo fell to Albert Pedrico on court six (6-2, 6-3) to make it 3-1 for TCU.
 
Jerry Barton fell on court five to No. 77 Roger Pascual (6-3, 6-3). The visitors won 4-1.
