DALLAS (SMU) - No. 5 SMU Volleyball (14-4, 6-2 ACC) got back on track with a three-set win (25-22, 25-23, 25-16) over Florida State (10-8, 4-3 ACC) Sunday afternoon at Moody Coliseum.

The Mustangs improved to 6-0 all time against the Seminoles, with all six wins coming during the Erger era.

SMU held Florida State to a .086 team hitting percentage, the fifth time the Mustangs have held an opponent to .100 or less this season.

Junior Jadyn Livings led the Mustangs with 11 kills on a .360 attack percentage. Freshman Elle Vandeweghe tied her career-high with an eight-kill performance against the Seminoles. The middle blocker hit .615 for the match and collected four blocks.

Redshirt-freshman setter Hannah Beauford sent out 36 assists in the sweep and tied a career-high with six blocks Sunday against the Seminoles.

As a team, SMU hit .263 for the match with 41 digs, eight blocks and six aces.

MATCH NOTES:

SMU now has an 18-2 set score record against the Seminoles. The Mustangs have swept Florida State in four of the six matches played.
With seven kills against the Seminoles, Favor Anyanwu is six away from 500 career kills.
Livings went for double-digit kills for the second time this season.
Harris logged 10+ digs for the 13th match this season.
SMU held an opponent to under .100 hitting for the 26th time under Coach Erger and improved to 25-1 when doing so.
The Mustangs' middles combined for 15 kills on a .538 clip with only one attack error. They also combined for 20 points against the Seminoles.
SMU held Florida State to a -.065 hitting percentage in the third and final set.
