DALLAS (SMU) – SMU Men's Tennis defeated Tulsa 4-1 at Styslinger/Altec Tennis Complex on Sunday.
The Mustangs performed dominantly on singles play, winning courts one, four, five and six after dropping the doubles point.
Trevor Svajda remains perfect in singles matches, improving his singles record to 5-0 in dual match play. He has won every set he's played this spring (10).

Georgi Georgiev and
Krish Arora fell to Nikita Volonski and Timothy Carlsson (6-2) on court two, while
Jerry Barton and
Vikas Deo lost to Gus Tettamble and Victor Tosetto (6-3) on court three.
The Mustangs nullified the one-point deficit swiftly as Svajda resumed his winning form in singles play by defeating Nikita Volonski on court one in straight sets (6-1, 6-2) to tie the scoreline.
Barton grabbed his sixth singles win of the season and gave SMU the lead by winning his match on court five against Gus Tettamble 6-2, 6-0.
Arora recorded his fourth singles win for SMU on court four over Connor Doig (6-3, 7-5) before
Noah McDonald clinched the match for SMU by winning court six to make it 4-1. McDonald won his match over Victor Tosetto 6-2, 7-6(6) following a tiebreaker that saw one deuce on the second set.
SMU improved its record to 4-3 before taking on the ITA National Indoor Championship on Feb. 13-17.
