DALLAS (SMU) — SMU Men's Tennis will face No. 2 Ohio State in the first round of the ITA National Indoor Championship at the Styslinger / Altec Tennis Complex, as announced by the ITA on Tuesday. The match is scheduled for Friday at 12 p.m. CT.
 
The Mustangs were seeded No. 8, while the Buckeyes earned the top seed on SMU's side of the bracket.
 
SMU is one of five Atlantic Coast Conference teams competing in the tournament. Clemson, Virginia and Stanford will begin their tournaments in Dallas, while Wake Forest will start at Baylor.
 
The Mustangs have two ITA National Indoor Championship titles. They won their first title in 1979 under the guidance of Bill McClain, and their second championship in 1983 under Dennis Ralston.

Taste of Tennis will be visiting Styslinger / Altec Tennis Complex for its first event in the college tennis scene. The fine-dining event will be held on championship match day, Feb. 17, at 6:30 p.m. CT. Tickets for the event are available here.
