DALLAS (SMU) — SMU Men's Tennis junior Trevor Svajda was named Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Week as announced by the conference on Tuesday.
 
The top-ranked singles player in the nation won all three of his singles matches in SMU's ITA National Team Indoor Championship campaign last weekend. He improved his record to 8-0 in singles matches this spring.
 
Svajda defeated Ohio State's No. 13 Aidan Kim, Arizona State's Bor Artnak and Florida's No. 54 Adhithya Ganesan, all in straight sets. He has not dropped a single set in singles play this spring while recording four wins over ranked opponents.

The Mustangs closed their ITA National Team Indoor Championship after earning their first tournament match win since 2000 and their highest ranked win since 2023 over No. 22 Arizona State (4-2).
