DALLAS (SMU) – SMU Men's Tennis swept Abilene Christian 7-0 at Styslinger/Altec Tennis Complex on Saturday.
The Mustangs won all doubles and singles matches of the day, with
Jerry Barton resuming his undefeated streak in singles play. Barton is undefeated in his last five matches, improving to a 9-1 record in singles play.
Georgi Georgiev earned his fourth straight-set win of the season to improve his spring singles record to 5-2.
Alex Finkelstein improved his singles record to 5-4 this season while
Meethre Barot earned his first singles win for SMU.

SMU showed dominance from the start of the match.
Jerry Barton and
Noah McDonald won their match on court three of doubles (6-1) against Jorge Aza and Merse Deli before
Georgi Georgiev and
Vikas Deo clinched the doubles point on court two minutes after. Georgiev and Deo won their match 6-1 against Teomas Quesada and Dennis Dutine.
Georgiev did not waste any time extending SMU's lead by winning his singles match on court two against Tomas Quesasa 6-1, 6-1.
Alex Finkelstein grabbed the Mustangs' third point of the day by winning his match on court one against Luis Jose Nakamine 2-6, 6-2, 6-3.
Barton clinched the match for SMU on court three by defeating Merse Deli 6-0, 5-7, 6-3.
The two teams played out the remaining singles matches and SMU's

Noah McDonald and Deo all won their singles matches on their respective courts.
