DALLAS – Seeded No. 29 overall, SMU Men's Tennis is headed to the Norman Regional for the 2027 ITA Kickoff Weekend on Jan. 23-24, 2027.
The Mustangs will take on No. 22 Florida for its return to the tournament after earning automatic bids as a host to the ITA National Indoor Championship in the last two seasons.
A victory would advance SMU to meet the winner of the hosts, No. 9 Oklahoma, and No. 32 Arizona State on Jan. 24.
The event guarantees teams two matches, as the losers of the first two matches will meet in the consolation bracket.
The ITA Kickoff Weekend is a qualifying tournament for the ITA Indoor National Championship that features 56 of the nation's best teams in 14 team sites. Winning teams from each site will compete at the 2027 ITA Men's National Indoor Championship, which is hosted by Clemson and South Carolina.
