STILLWATER, Okla. - SMU Cross Country will head to Greiner Family OSU Cross Country Course in Stillwater this Saturday for the Cowboy Jamboree.Â

The Mustangs keep striding with back to back team wins at the John McKenzie Invitational and Texas A&M Invitational, with Rose Mburu finishing first individually at both races.Carolina Correia and Mary Nyangate have finished within Top-5 as well.
Head Coach 'A Havahla Haynes is entering her eighth season on the Hilltop leading the program, with SMU competing in its third season within the ACC. Haynes has guided the Mustangs to eight team wins throughout her tenure, with two this season.
This will be the third time the Mustangs compete at Cowboy Jamboree and fifth time in Stillwater for the regular season. Last season, the team finished in fifth and Mburu crossed the line in sixth for the best SMU finish of the day.
SMU moved up in the South Central Regional Rankings to third, after being in the preseason polls at five.

Following the Cowboy Jamboree, the Mustangs will head to Terre Haute, Ind. to compete at the Pre-National Invitational, hosted by Indiana State.
