2005-06: Had a breakout season for the Mustangs... Showed promise in the fall, tying for seventh at the Mason Rudolph Intercollegiate... Won the first tournament of the spring, taking medalist honors at the John Burns Intercollegiate with a 14-under 202 over three rounds... Led SMU to the team title... His 202 ranks as the second-lowest three-round tournament total in SMU history... Named Conference USA Golfer of the Week for the week of Feb. 22-28... Also posted top-10 finishes at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate (3rd) and the Conference USA Championships (T9th)... Was a second-team All-C-USA selection... Posted a 73.27 stroke average over 33 rounds... Had six rounds in the 60s; 2004-05: Top varsity finish was a tie for 13th at the University Club Invitational with rounds of 70-70-70... Averaged 76.2 strokes in 27 rounds of play... Finished first at the Texas Wesleyan JV Invitational... Also competed at Notre Dame Invite, Pinehurst Classic, Aggie Invite and WAC Championships; 2003-04: Averaged 75.6 strokes in 11 rounds of play... Best finish was a tie for 25th at the UNC Intercollegiate with rounds of 76-74-69... Also competed at the Kiawah Invite, the SMU Stonebridge and the LSU Invite; Prep: AJGA All-American...Lettered four years... All-District & All-Region selection... Won 10 tournaments at Bryan High... Shot a 29 on the front nine at a tournament; Personal: Has one brother and one sister... An economics major.
