Will Little joins the SMU Staff as volunteer assistant after a distinguished career at Baylor. Little, a four-year letterwinner and All-American, recorded a 75-37 record in singles play during his tenure in Waco to go along with a 65-40 record in doubles. A native of Joplin, Missouri, Little was a standout at College Heights Christian School before beginning his career at Baylor. After redshirting his first season at Baylor, Little recorded a 14-10 singles record and played line one doubles for the Bears, going 10-3 while competing at the top spot. His freshman season came to an end when he was sidelined with season-ending back surgery. Despite the obstacle of the surgery putting Little out for a long stretch, Little pushed through the adversity and produced a breakout season in 2017 that saw him earn ITA All-American status in doubles. Along with an All-Big 12 selection, Little and his partner Juan Benitez advanced to the NCAA Doubles Championship Quarterfinals with an upset of the No. 2 seed and peaked as high as No. 13 in the ITA doubles rankings during his sophomore season. He earned All-Big 12 honors again in his junior season and climbed to as high as No. 2 in the country in doubles, and was ranked for the first time in singles as well. With Little as captain during the 2019 season, the Bears won the Big 12 tournament title and advanced to the NCAA Quarterfinals. In singles, Little went 15-3 in the dual match season and was ranked as high as No. 17 in the country. A standout in the classroom as well, Little racked up eight Big 12 Commissioner Honor roll selections and was Academic All-Big 12 four times. Little graduated from Baylor in May of 2019 with a Masters of Accounting.
