2025-26 (Freshman): Raced with the first varsity four at the Sarasota 2K and the ACC Championship, competed with the third varsity eight at the Orlando Invite and the second varsity four at the Lake Wheeler Invitational … made collegiate debut at the Sarasota 2K on Mar. 27.

PERSONAL: Pulford hails from New Plymouth, New Zealand where she rowed with Clifton Rowing Club. Her top rowing accomplishments came at The New Zealand Nationals. She earned a silver in the women's club double sculls and bronze in the women's club single sculls. She made the New Zealand Under 22 team in 2025.
 
FROM THE COACH: "Jesse has had a lot of success at the junior level in New Zealand, but most importantly she's a great teammate," said head coach Chase Graham. "She's an awesome person, loves to grind it out, and has a knack for keeping her bow ball ahead."
 
CHOOSING SMU: Pulford is excited to grow as an athlete and compete at the Division I level. She can't wait to create lifelong memories.
