Biography

2025-26 (Graduate Student): Selected as Third-Team All-ACC … raced in the five seat with the first varsity eight throughout the campaign … qualified for the “A” final for the 1v8 at the Sarasota 2K … finished first on the second day of the Lake Wheeler Invitational, crossing the line 5.21 seconds ahead of second-place finisher Louisville … placed second in the 1v8 petite final at the ACC Championship … named a Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) Scholar-Athlete.

PERSONAL: Kulig hails from Halifax, Nova Scotia where she rowed with North Star Rowing Club. She finished fourth in the 2x for Team Canada at the Junior Pan-Am Games qualifier. She also finished fourth in the U-23 1x at the Canadian National Rowing Championship. She placed in fifth in the 1x at the Canadian University Rowing Championship.
 
FROM THE COACH: "I really enjoyed my time with Kate on her visit earlier this year, great person, easy to talk to, and loves to make boats go fast with others," said head coach Chase Graham. "I think she will be a great teammate inside and outside the boat. She is quite versatile in that she can row any boat class and has demonstrated success through a variety of national championship regattas."
