PERSONAL: Lauren Nash hails fro Austin, Texas where she attended Hyde Park High School ... she rowed with Texas Rowing Center under head coach Anna Ohrsrom ... at Texas Rowing, Nash won 1st at the Team Overall Central Youth Regional Cuop and 1st at the Women's Overall Central Younth Regionals ... At the 2k Texas State Championship, won first in the u-19 8+ and 3rd in the u-19 4+ ...she also racked multiple first places as a novice at the Head of Oklahoma 2k ... she was a member of National Charity League throughout high school and earned numerous awards for her constant community service ... Nash has a sister Grace (7) and two step-siblings Katie (31) and Reid (29) ... her Guardians are Ginger (an SMU grad school grad, '99) and Randy Langehennig ... she plans on majoring in Applied Physiology and Sports Management ... she choose SMU because of the small campus feel and all of the personalized attention the student-athletes get and also for the charming city of Dallas.
