SMU Athletics

2025-26 (Freshman): Raced with the third varsity eight at the Sarasota 2K, the Lake Wheeler Invitational and the ACC Championship and competed with the second varsity four at the Orlando Invite … placed third in the 3v8 at the Lake Wheeler Invitational, finishing in front of Louisville and Georgetown (7:00.570).

PERSONAL: Willoughby hails from Knoxville, Tennessee where she rowed with Atomic Rowing Club. Some of her rowing accomplishments including racing at Canadian Henley. She qualified for nationals her junior year. She placed seventh in the Youth 2x at Head of the Hooch.

CHOOSING SMU: Willoughby is most excited about joining a bigger rowing team as she came from a smaller program. In addition, she is inspired by the team culture at SMU and can't wait to be a part of it.
