Prior to SMU: Played for two seasons at Oklahoma State...As a sophomore averaged 7.4 points in 31 games... Set a Cowgirl freshman school record with 25 points in the season opener vs. Air Force... In high school, named as all-state, all-star and all-region selection by the Texas Girls Coaches Association.

Personal: Born in December, 1988... Daughter of Angel Hernandez... Has one sister, Stephanie, and one brother Jordan.
