GAINESVILLE, GA. - The SMU Women's Rowing team participated in their second regatta of the year at the Head of the Chattahoochee in Georgia this weekend. The Mustangs had eight different teams rowing in eight different races. The team did well, rowing against 43 other teams. The lightweight boat finished first, and Novice finished second.
Women's Varsity Eight finished fifth out of 23, behind Texas, Carolina, Duke and Clemson. This team missed being fourth by four seconds, and third by seven seconds. The Mustang rowers continue to have great showings all around.
