SARASOTA, Fla. (SMU) - SMU rowing wrapped up action at the Sarasota 2K with four "A" final races on Saturday at Nathan Benderson Park.
 
SMU first competed in the 2v4 "B" final. SMU won the race with a time of 7:41.54, 4.14 ahead of second place Drexel. SMU also topped Jacksonville, MSU, Tulsa and West Virginia in the race.
 
In the 3v8 "A" Final, SMU placed in fifth. Finishing in a time of 7:22.06, the Mustangs crossed the line ahead of Kansas.
 
In the V4 "A" final, SMU placed in sixth with a time of 7:58.24. During the 2v8 "A" final, SMU came in sixth place with a time of 7:23.01.
 
In the last SMU race of the event, the 1v8 "A" final, SMU finished in fifth (6:53.39) ahead of Iowa.
 
Next up on the Mustangs' schedule, SMU heads to back to Florida. This time taking on the UCF Invite in Orlando. The event runs April 17-18.
