DALLAS (SMU) -- The SMU men's soccer team and BYU played to a 3-3 tie Monday night in exhibition play before a crowd of approximately 400 people at Westcott Field.
SMU's three goals were tallied by freshman forward Colin Clark (Fort Collins, Colo.) - at the 13:51 mark, at the 18:50 mark, and at the 73:17 mark. Scoring for BYU was Spencer Viernes at 18:09, Matt Walker at 30:46, and Thomas Foster at 74:43.
The Mustangs open the 2002 regular season on Friday, Aug. 30 when UT-Dallas visits Westcott Field. Gametime is slated for 7:30 p.m.
