CHARLOTTE, N.C. (ACC/SMU) – SMU Men's Soccer had 11 players named to the 2025 All-ACC Academic Men's Soccer Team, as announced by the conference on Thursday.
The Mustangs are tied with Stanford and Notre Dame with 11 student athletes included on the list. Only Louisville (13) and Pitt (12) have more honorees than SMU.
Ryan Clanton-Pimentel, Enzo Panozzo, Alex Salvo and Stephan Soghomonian earned the honors for the second consecutive season.
A total of 130 student-athletes earned spots on the men's soccer All-ACC Academic Team. The complete list of honorees can be found here.
Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team include a 3.0-grade point average for the previous two semesters and 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career, while being enrolled at the institution for at least one year and being classified as an undergraduate student. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team's athletic contests.
