DALLAS (AP) - Donatas Rackauskas hit 10-of-12 shots from the field for a career-high 21 points in SMU's 68-51 win over Prairie View A&M on Wednesday night.
Ike Ofoegbu added 14 points and grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds and had a career-best three blocks for the Mustangs (7-1). The Mustangs won their fifth straight, all at home, to match their longest winning streak since late in the 2002-03 season. Devon Pearson had 10 points and seven rebounds while Jon Killen led the team with seven assists.
The Panthers (1-7) trailed 32-25 at the break. But the Mustangs hit almost 64 percent of their second-half shots compared to the Panthers' 32 percent. The Mustangs finished plus-30 on the boards with a 45-15 margin. Brian Epps contributed a career-high seven boards in the effort.
Ivory McGilvery led Prairie View with 23 points, including five 3-pointers. Andy Genao came off the bench to add 15 points, including four 3-pointers.
SMU now goes on the road for three straight beginning at Centenary on Saturday. The Mustangs then visit TCU on Dec. 21 and Oklahoma on Dec. 28 before returning home to host North Carolina A&T on Dec. 30.
