DALLAS (SMU) - The 68th-ranked SMU women's tennis team dropped a 4-2 decision to the Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns on Saturday, Feb. 18.
The match was originally scheduled for 10 a.m., but that time was changed to 4 p.m. and moved indoors, due to wintry conditions in the Dallas area.
SMU won the doubles point to open the match, clinching victories at the Nos. 1 and 3 doubles.
ULL, though, controlled singles play, winning at Nos. 1, 3, 4 and 5 to clinch the match. SMU's singles winner was Kouzmenko at No. 2 by the score of 7-5, 6-7, 6-0.
