BRYAN, Texas (SMU) - The SMU men's golf team stands in fifth place following two rounds of play at the Aggie Invitational at the 7,235-yard, par-72 Traditions Golf Club. As a team, SMU shot rounds of 297 and 303 to finish at 600, 23 shots back of host and ninth-ranked Texas A&M.

Individually, Colt Knost leads the `Stangs at 5-over 149 and is tied for 11th. Brandon DeStefano is two shots back of Knost in 18th at 7-over 151. Wes Homan and Will Dodson are tied for 27th at 9-over 153, while Dan Kleckner rounds out the SMU group at 12-over 156, good for 42nd.

The 12-team field tees off Sunday's final 18 at 7:30 a.m. Admission is free.
