DALLAS (SMU) - The SMU men's soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision to visiting Centenary in spring play Thursday night at Westcott Field. The Mustangs got on the board first as junior Chase Wileman booted in a 25-yard free kick from the right side of the box at the 5:01 mark in the first half. Centenary knotted the game at 1-1 at the 14:47 mark. The Gents took the lead later in the half off a free kick. SMU controlled the offense in the second half, but could not capitalize on its attempts.
SMU continues its spring season on April 19 with a game against the visiting DFW Tornados. Kick-off is set for 7:00 p.m. at Westcott Field. Admission is free.
