DALLAS (SMU) - The SMU men's golf team slipped to 14th place after the second round of the Olympia Fields/Fighting Illini Invitational. SMU's second-round score of 302 places them at 600 heading into Sunday's final round.

Ben Tewes followed his opening-round 74 with another 74 and is tied for 35th. Scott Barton repeated his 75 and is tied for 42nd.

Oklahoma State leads the team event at 572 and Penn State's Kevin Foley tops the individual leaderboard at 2-under 138.
