TULSA, OKLA. (SMU) - Junior forward Dane Saintus scored the game-winning goal and junior goalkeeper Craig Hill posted his fourth shutout of the season as the SMU men's soccer team - ranked No. 2 in the country in the current National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) poll - shut out Hofstra, 1-0, in the second round of the Level 3 & Radisson Hotel Hurricane Classic at the University of Tulsa.

For Saintus, his second goal of the season proved to be the only score the Mustangs (6-1-1) would need to pick up the victory. Saintus scored his unassisted goal in the 22nd minute from about three yards out.

Hill was perfect between the pipes again, recording seven saves in the victory. He now is tied (with South Carolina's Jimmy Maurer) for the Conference USA lead with his fourth shutout, and he stands alone among C-USA goalkeepers with a league-best goals-against average of 0.49 and a save percentage of .882.

The Mustangs now return home to host Tulsa at 7 p.m. Saturday night at Westcott Field.
