LEXINGTON, Ky. - Kentucky scored in the 65th minute to down SMU 1-0 Wednesday afternoon in a C-USA match at UK Soccer Complex. The game was a makeup of a match originally scheduled for October 25.

Kentucky's Tim Crone scored in the 65th minute to give the Wildcats a 1-0 lead, which would be all the scoring they would need. Kentucky improves to 12-6-0 on the season, with a 5-3-0 record in Conference USA play. The Mustangs fall to 6-7-2, 2-3-2 within the league.

Kentucky outshot SMU 16-13. SMU's four corner kicks were one more than Kentucky's three.

SMU concludes their 2009 campaign at 7 p.m. on Saturday, November 7 as they host FIU at Westcott Field. SMU's senior night ceremonies will precede the game.
