DALLAS (SMU) - SMU Mustang James Kwon carded a 2-under 70 in round two of the John Burns Invitational at the par-72, 6,916-yard Leilehua Golf Course in Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, and is alone in third place at 7-under 137 entering Friday's final round. Kwon is three shots back of leader Tarquin Macmanus (-10) of Arizona. As a team, SMU shot 282 and moved up one spot to sixth on Thursday.

SMU's Kelly Kraft also shot 70 on Thursday and is tied for 25th at 142. Ben Tewes and Max Buckley's 1-under 71s have them tied for 31st and 46th, respectively, while Draegen Majors (75) is tied for 69th at 149.
