STILLWATER, Okla. (SMU) - SMU's Kelly Kraft recorded a 1-under 71 and is tied for third after round one of the NCAA South Central Regional Championship at the par 72, 7,407-yard Karsten Creek Golf Club.

South Dakota State's Trent Peterson leads with a 5-under 67. SMU's James Kwon fired a 10-over-par 82 and is 15 shots back.

The low five teams and the low individual not on those teams will advance to the finals from each regional.
