Day Two Results 
HOUSTON (SMU) - The SMU men's tennis team had three players advance to the semifinals in singles play as well as two doubles team advance in the second day of the Rice Invitational at the Jake Hess Tennis Stadium in Houston Saturday.
Tobias Flood and Darren Walsh led the Mustangs' efforts on the day, each going 2-0. Flood defeated Roger Anderson of LSU before teaming with Drew Peterson to down the Tulane team of Shaye Wali and Rod Roppaccoli, 8-2 in doubles. Walsh beat Sam Garforth-Bles of Rice 6-2, 6-7 (4), 1-0 (10-1) in singles and finished his day joining forces with Adam El-Effendi to down the Owls' doubles team of Michael Nusslein and Christian Savaria, 8-8 (8-6).
The tournament will wrap up on Sunday with semifinals and finals action to take place. Full results will be available at the completion of play.
