Rice Invitational Day 3 Results 
HOUSTON, (SMU) - The SMU men's tennis team finished its first tournament of the fall season, Sunday at the Jake Hess Tennis Stadium in Houston. The Mustangs had finalists in four of the six flights at the Rice Invitational, including one championship by Darren Walsh in the Singles Flight B who won 6-4, 6-7, 1-0 (10-4) over Stefan Scazinski of LSU.
"I am very impressed with the team's performance for the first tournament of the fall season," head coach Carl Neufeld said. "All of the players are playing at or near their personal best, and did it against top competition."
The Mustangs will return to action on Friday at the Midland Invitational. The tournament is scheduled to run through Sunday Sept. 20
