DALLAS (SMU) - Kekoa Osorio scored his first goal of the season, and Payton Hickey registered his team-leading fifth assist, but SMU fell to Missouri State 3-1 in the final game of the SMU Classic at Westcott Field.

SMU (3-4-1) took the lead in the 31st minute when Hickey assisted Osorio for his first goal of the season, and to give SMU a 1-0 lead entering halftime. Missouri State (4-2-1) tied the game in the 55th minute with a goal from Nick Dryden, and took the lead with a 68th minute goal from Paul Paradise. Missouri State added an insurance goal in the 85th minute from Jordan Hoffman to give them the final 3-1 margin of victory.

SMU led in shots by a margin of 14-10. The Mustangs earned four corners to Missouri State's one.

SMU's Kekoa Osorio and Dane Saintus were named to the SMU Classic All-Tournament team for their efforts this weekend.

SMU returns to action Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. when they host Centenary at Westcott Field.
