Wayzata, Minn. (SMU) - Kelly Kraft's blistering 71-68 has him in second place following two rounds of play at the Gopher Invitational at Spring Hill Golf Club. The senior will be just four shots off the lead of Kent State's John Hahn heading into Monday's final round.

As a team, SMU is ninth in the 11-team event at 596. The day started well for three Mustangs, as Kraft, Harry Higgs and Max Buckley each shot 71 over the first 18. Higgs and Buckley had trouble over the second 18, though, shooting 77 and 82, respectively.

LSU leads at 582.
