SMU 64, Memphis 58 - boxscore 
DALLAS (AP) - Papa Dia finished with 22 points and 10 rebounds as SMU rallied to defeat Memphis 64-58 Wednesday night.
Robert Nyakundi and Collin Mangrum each added 15 points for the Mustangs (10-6, 1-1 Conference USA), who beat the Tigers in Dallas for the second straight year. Last season SMU ended Memphis' 27-game road winning streak within the conference.
Joe Jackson scored 15 points and Wesley Witherspoon had 11 for the Tigers (12-4, 1-1).
The Mustangs trailed by 14 in the first half and were down 48-37 after Tarik Black's dunk with 11:18 to play. SMU then rallied with 17 unanswered points, including six from Dia, and led the rest of the way.
Memphis didn't score again until 2:14 remained.
The Mustangs were 9 of 16 from 3-point range and scored 28 points off 18 Memphis turnovers.
