Tulsa, Okla. (SMU) - The duo of senior Nate Lammons and junior Arkadijs Slobodkins head to the round of 16 in the St. Francis Health System All American Championship in doubles competition after defeating No.14 Arjun Kadhe and Julian Cash of Oklahoma State.
Lammons and Slobodkins took down their adversary in straight sets, 6-2, 6-4. This marks the twosome's third, straight set victory in four doubles matches in this event.
"I'm super excited for our guys, it's been their best match of the tournament," said Head Coach Carl Neufeld. "Their serving has been getting better and better and their teamwork has been fantastic and is what has been propelling them so far."
The pair will continue play on Friday at 3 p.m. CT when they face No. 18 Brett Clark and Robert Kelly of North Carolina. The matchup will be Lammons and Slobodkins second straight top 20 ranked opponent.
