Mustangs Hold Annual Intra-Squad Event

COMPLETE RESULTS
DALLAS (SMU) - The SMU women's swimming and diving team held its annual Red vs. Blue Intra-Squad meet in conjunction with the 2015 Centennial Homecoming Celebration. The event, held at the A.R. Barr Pool on campus, went to the blue team by a slight 55-54 margin.
The teams competed in nine relays, with senior co-captain Madison Meyer's team coming away with the victory in four in addition to a diving sweep by junior Lauren Lamb. Lamb narrowly edged out sophomore Madeline Wainman in the 1-meter, 142.04-138.85, and posted a 216.45 to take the 3-meter.
Senior co-captain Elizabeth Krane led the red team, which picked up wins in the 400-yard medley relay, 200-yard freestyle relay, 300-yard butterfly relay, 300-yard breaststroke relay and 400-yard freestyle relay.
The Mustangs begin the 2015-16 season on Friday at the UNT Relays held in Southlake, Texas, at 6 p.m. CT. Find all your swimming and diving information on social media by following the Ponies' social accounts:
