DALLAS (SMU) – Select members of the SMU men's and women's swimming programs head to Mesa, Arizona, for the third stop on the Arena Pro Swim Series circuit. The Mesa event runs Thursday through Saturday at the Skyline Aquatic Center and features long course competition.
Event prelims begin at 11 a.m. CT each day, with finals continuing at 7 p.m. CT. The top 32 swimmers from each event (excluding distance events) will advance to evening finals, with the Consolation Final (B) leading off, followed by the Championship Final (A). C and D Finals will take place at the conclusion of all A and B heats.

NCAA competition concluded for the Mustangs with the Division I Swimming and Diving Championships in March. On the women's side,
Marne Erasmus and
Matea Samardzic represented the Mustangs at the Championships, while Gomez swam for the Mustangs on the men's side.
Both programs placed second at the American Athletic Conference Championships held in February. A total of 14 individuals and 10 relays from both programs earned all-conference honors.
