DALLAS (SMU) - SMU and USF ended in a 1-1 draw Saturday night at Westcott Field.

SMU opened the scoring for the match Junior forward Garrett McLaughlin put the Mustangs on top in the third minute with an assist from senior midfielder Emil Cuello, recording his third goal of the season.

Later in the period, USF found an equalizer in the 31^st minute to tie the game, 1-1.

The match entered a lightning delay at the half and later resumed after receiving the all-clear around 9:45 p.m. CT.

Both teams had their chances in regulation play, but neither could break the tie. After 20 minutes of overtime, the Mustangs and Bulls came to their 1-1 conclusion.
