DALLAS (SMU) – SMU women's tennis will host the Red & Blue Challenge this weekend, Nov. 2-4, at the SMU Tennis Complex. The tournament will be in a round robin format with teams alternating their singles and doubles opponents.

Vivienne Kulicke,
Ana Perez-Lopez,
Anzhelika Shapovalova, and
Karina Traxler, careers. SMU opens the spring dual season on Jan. 11, 2019 with Metroplex Mania.
Doubles play starts Friday, Nov. 2 at 1:30 p.m. with singles to follow. SMU will face a combination of Wichita State and UT-Arlington in doubles, then a combination of Wyoming and North Texas in singles. Tulsa is also competing this weekend.
Last weekend, the Mustangs competed at the River Oaks Invitational in Houston where Buss, Kulicke and Perez-Lopez all went 2-1 in singles play. Previously, junior
Sarai Monarrez Yesaki led SMU at the ITA Regional Championship with an appearance in the Round of 16. Kulicke holds SMU's best fall singles record at 6-2.
