DALLAS (SMU) – Mustang swimmers completed night two action at the Art Adamson Invitational in College Station, while Parker Hardigree opened competition for SMU at the IU Invitational on the diving side.

SMU had six individual swimmers compete in Consolation Finals on Thursday, with Lucas Schenke (1:39.70) leading the way at 11th in the 200-yard freestyle. Matthew Nutter (1:40.90) was also in the race, finishing 13th overall.

Both Simon Golczyk (100 fly) and Matan Segal (100 back) finished 13th in their respective events, while Brayden Rudd (100 breast) and Trey Kilbride (100 back) finished 14th overall.

Mustang relays earned their highest finish of the night in the 800-yard freestyle relay as Segal, Ralph Koo, Stephen Cheng and Kilbride finished ninth in 6:46.19. The 200-medley relay (1:31.65) grouping of Segal, Aedan Lewis, Golczyk and Koo finished 11th.

Hardigree is representing Mustang divers at the IU Invitational with day two action resuming Friday. The final day of the Art Adamson Invitational concludes tomorrow.
