Mustangs Host Oklahoma Baptist Saturday At 11 A.M.

DALLAS (SMU) – The SMU men's swimming team hosts Oklahoma Baptist Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Robson & Lindley Aquatics Center and Barr-McMillion Natatorium. The event will stream live on PonyUp TV and results will be available at SMUMustangs.com and on the Meet Mobile App ($). It will be a swimming only meet.
The Mustangs are 3-1 in dual action this season, with wins over Metroplex rival TCU and a pair against Loyola New Orleans.
The last time out, SMU swept Loyola 150-76 at The Nat. All four seniors in action were credited with individual victories, with Garrett Carson leading the way with a pair. Carson won the 200-yard butterfly and 200-yard individual medley. Lucas Schenke (100 free), Kianu Kitching (200 back) and Carson Klein (500 free) also scored maximum points in their individual events.
Jesse Washington and Connor Dalbo were also double winners for SMU with Washington pacing the field in the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard butterfly and Dalbo winning both breaststroke events. Matan Segal (200 free) and Stephen Cheng (100 back) also paced the field in their respective events.
OBU competes in the Division II Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, and is coming off a win over Ouachita Baptist on Jan. 19. The Bison are currently ranked 20th in the DII CSCAA TYR Top 25 Poll, while individuals hold five times inside the nation's top 25.Â
