DALLAS (SMU) – The Mustangs wrapped up the first day of action at the Metroplex Mania at the SMU Tennis Complex, winning four singles matchups and two doubles matchups.

Jackie Nylander, Isabella Tcherkes Zade, Nicole Petchey and Katherine Jakeway all secured wins over their Wisconsin opponents. In doubles, the pairs of Claudia Bartolome/Sarai Monarrez Yesaki and Nicole Petchey/Tiffany Hollebeck earned wins against Wake Forest.

On Saturday, SMU takes on Denver in doubles at 10 a.m. and Wake Forest in singles at 12 p.m.
