Estrada Named AAC Goalkeeper Of The Week; Khan On Honor Roll

IRVING, Texas (SMU/AAC) – Samantha Estrada was named American Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the Week after posting back-to-back shutouts.

Estrada returned to the lineup against Temple, making three saves on Temple's three shots. She made all four saves against Tulsa for SMU's ninth shutout of the season.

Alina Khan was named to the league's Weekly Honor Roll after scoring game-winning goals in both matches. The goal against Temple was the first career goal for Khan.

SMU is 10-2-2 overall and 4-1-2 in The American. The Mustangs are ranked 16th in the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 Poll with one regular-season match remaining. SMU plays at Memphis Thursday at 7 p.m.
