DALLAS (SMU) – The SMU men's swimming and diving team wrapped up the second day of competition at the SMU Classic.
Parker Hardigree once again hit a NCAA Zone mark with a score of 310.30 in the 1-meter diving event, marking his second Zone mark in as many days. Hardigree later was named High-Point diver of the meet.
Colin Feehery finished second in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:56.62 for a NCAA B-Cut mark, just .03 seconds behind the winner.
Cole Bruns came in second in the 100-yard freestyle with a personal-best time of 43.88.
Connor Dalbo finished with a time of 2:00.98 in the 200-yard breaststroke B-Final.
Cotton Fields continued to impress in just his second event as a Mustangs. Fields turned in a fourth-place spot in the 200-yard backstroke at the 1:46.30 mark.
SMU wrapped up the day in the 200-yard freestyle relay coming in fourth at the 1:20.48 mark.
The men's 200 Medley Relay team finished fifth (1:29.50) which consisted of Bruns, Dalbo,
Tyler Mansheim, and
Elijah Sohn.
Michigan won the SMU Classic with a score 336. Louisville (325), and Missouri (303) came in second and third, respectively. SMU completed its home competition in fifth.
