DALLAS (SMU) - SMU Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving programs have earned the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Spring Scholar All-America Team honors as announced by the association on Wednesday.
To earn this honor, teams must have an overall grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 or higher.
SMU's women's team, led by Head Coach
Ozzie Quevedo, received a 3.18 GPA, while the men's team, led by Head Coach
Greg Rhodenbaugh, acquired a 3.41 GPA.
The CSCAA recognized 714 teams from 418 institutions as Scholar Academic teams for Spring 2026.

Seven Mustangs throughout both teams earned CSCAA Scholar All-American Second Team honors. To qualify, the athlete must have earned an overall GPA of 3.5 or higher, as well as met an NIC "A" time standard in Division I or an NCAA "B" qualifying standard for the national championship.
