BOX SCORE   SEASON STATS

FORT WORTH, Texas (SMU) - SMU men's tennis fell, 4-0, to No. 6 TCU on Saturday afternoon at the Friedman Tennis Center.

"We couldn't bring the iron skillet home today," said head coach Grant Chen. "Credit to TCU. They are a very good team and beat us today. We had opportunities in the beginning of the match and did not convert. Huntley (Allen) and Julian (Steinhausen) played a great doubles match. We have a big home stretch ahead of us."

Doubles went down to the wire with the Horned Frogs narrowly taking the point. No. 24 Paroulek / Jong topped the Mustang duo of Caleb Chakravarthi and Liam Krall, 6-3, on court one. SMU answered back as Huntley Allen and Julian Steinhausen put together a 6-3 victory on court three. Tomas Vaise and Juan Jose Bianchi had an early 4-1 lead on No. 15 Gray / Fearnley on the top line. TCU would rally for a 7-5 win to clinch the doubles point.

TCU held the advantage in singles winning all six first sets. Jordi Redelijk was matched up with No. 125 Fearnley on court six and fell, 6-2, 6-1. The match ended with a Steinhausen falling, 6-1, 6-3 on court five.
