DALLAS (SMU)  - SMU men's tennis wrapped up the regular season with a 7-0 sweep of Trinity on Sunday afternoon at the SMU Tennis Complex.
 
The Mustangs conclude the regular season with a 17-13 record including a 14-4 mark at the SMU Tennis Complex.
 
Doubles play started with a strong Mustang win. Liam Krall and Tomas Vaise combined for a 6-3 victory on line one while Huntley Allen and Clarke Wilson won, 6-2 on line three. The Mustangs have won at least one doubles court in 26 consecutive matches.
 
Four Mustangs cruised to straight set singles wins. Julian Steinhausen won his 14^th match of the season with a 6-1, 6-2 win on court five. Vaise won on line one with a pair of 6-1 sets. Wilson ended his regular season with a 6-1, 6-3 victory on line four.  Krall won his team-high 15^th match of the season after a 6-3, 7-5 score on line two.
 
Jordi Redelijk split the first two sets on line six before winning 10-2 in the super tiebreaker.  In his SMU Tennis Complex finale, Jan-Simon Vrbsky rallied from a first set defeat to win set two and win a super tiebreaker 10-6.
 
Next up, the Mustangs head to Orlando for the American Athletic Conference Tennis Championships. The quarterfinals are set for Thursday from the USTA National Campus.
