NEBRASKA (SMU) – The Mustangs will travel to Nebraska this weekend to take on the Cornhuskers Sunday at 10:00 a.m. at the Sid and Hazel Dillon Tennis Center. SMU currently stands at 4-3, having wins against Prairie View A&M (2-0), Purdue, and Corpus Christi. The Mustangs lost extremely tight 4-3 matches to both Texas Tech and Notre Dame. They have been very good at home, currently holding a 4-1 record in Dallas.
HOT MUSTANGS
Adam Neff has won five singles matches in a row. He is undefeated in singles dual matches this season and has not yet dropped a single set. Liam Krall, primarily playing at the No. 2 spot, is 5-1 in singles dual matches and 4-1 in doubles, 3-1 playing with primary partner Julian Steinhausen.
ABOUT NEBRASKA
The Cornhuskers come into Sunday's match with a record of 3-3. They have won thrilling 4-3 dual matches against Drake and Wichita State. Two of their losses were against top 25 teams, Baylor at No. 2 and Oklahoma at No. 24. The Mustangs are 4-0 all-time versus the Cornhuskers.

Mustangs On Tour
Four SMU men's tennis players debuted on the ATP Tour at the Dallas Open in February. Caleb Chakravarthi, Liam Krall, and Adam Neff were all awarded matches in singles, while Neff and Ivan Thamma were given a spot in doubles. The field included three top-30 ranked players in the world including John Isner, Taylor Fritz, and Reilly Opelka. Neff and Thamma came closest to winning their match, as they split sets with Sam Querrey and Jackson Withrow before losing 10-5 on a tiebreak.

Fall Titles
SMU won a number of tournaments this fall. Former AAC Freshman of the Year Liam Krall took the singles title at the Lakes Collegiate Invitational. Senior Captain Caleb Chakravarthi won the singles and doubles title along with Julian Steinhausen at the Islander Invite.
