DALLAS (SMU) – The SMU women's tennis team fell 4-2 versus the No. 34 Texas Tech Red Raiders on Sunday at the Styslinger/Altec Tennis Complex.

Hadley Doyle notched a 6-3 win over Texas Tech's Avelina
Sayfetdinova/Kailey Evans, improving to 3-0 through dual play and earning their second win over a Power Five opponent this spring.
Graduate seniors

Claudia Bartolome earned their first win of the dual season as a pair over Tech's Margarita Skriabina/Cristina Tiglea, 6-4. The Mustang duo climbed to a 5-1 lead, but were unable to close the set, as their Red Raider opponents closed the gap to 5-4. Keberle/Bartolome then clinched, earning a 6-4 victory, sealing the Mustangs' fourth consecutive win in doubles.
On line four in singles, Bartolome improved to 5-4 on the season with a 6-2, 6-3, straight-set win over Tech's Kailey Evans.
Keberle fell 6-1 in her opening set against No. 16-ranked Margarita Skriabina, then responded with a 7-5 win in the second, after trading game wins throughout the affair. Keberle was up 3-0 in the deciding set over Skriabina when Tech won the clinching point and the match was called.
SMU resumes dual play on Saturday, March 12, with a noon first serve at Tulsa.
